Founded in early 2018 by two 21 year old uni students, Suitor is Australia’s first online suit and tuxedo rental company, delivering formalwear to every and any door all across Australia. Based on a US model, Suitor rents quality suits and tuxedos for a fraction of the retail price, with free shipping included in the rental cost. Arriving at your door at least 3 days before their event, Suitor hires full outfits, including suits/tuxes, vests, shirts and accessories for 5 or 14 days, ensuring Australia men can look great for any formal occasion.

Disrupting the Australian formalwear market, Suitor is putting traditional retail stores such as Roger David, Ron Bennett and Spurling out of business, reinventing an outdated method with its innovative process. Suitor also has developed a special feature to ensure the perfect fitting suit with its Backup Suit feature, sending two sizes of a suit with over 70% of orders to ensure Aussie men the option of the best fit. Basic tailoring is also allowed.

Tuxedo and Suit Hire Styling Advice

The Black Tuxedo and the Blue Tuxedo are our two most popular options. The Black Tuxedo is the sharpish option for any Black Tie or formal event. It is traditional, consistent and enduring; making anyone that wears it feel confident and like a million bucks. Alternatively, the Blue Tuxedo is slightly more daring, but always captures the attention of anyone and everyone, an instant conversation starter. Complete with a bow tie, you feel special when you wear a tuxedo, looking absolutely stunning for photos, creating memories forever.

Blue Suits

Our two most popular suit options are the Platinum Blue and traditional Black Suit combination. The Platinum Blue Suit with a Navy Blue or Black Tie is an exquisite combination, if you want to be a little different, you could even wear a red tie. The Black Suit can be worn with any tie, it is a safe, consistent and confident option.

White Suit

Sizing & Fit Information

Some tips for a slim fit:

Most of our suits are slim fit, so have a look at this.

Your size will most likely be one size bigger than your suit size in a normal fit. For example, a size 42 chest, will usually be a 44 slim fit chest.

Chest measurement = the suit jacket and vest size
Waist measurement = the pants size
Neck measurement = the shirt size

KEEP IN MIND SLIM FIT, if you measure 40-inch chest, you will be a 42-inch fit in our slim fits. Generally, the size of a suit jacket is 6 inches bigger than your waist. For example, if you are a 34 waist, the size of your suit jacket is likely to be a 40

If you are unsure of your size, don’t hesitate to take advantage of our extra sizing option to ensure the perfect fit.
